It was a big start to Week 1, already having a shakeup in the top 25 rankings.

In B1G action, No. 5 Notre Dame fell to No. 2 Ohio State, who then dropped a spot in the rankings due, in part, to a lackluster first half against the Irish. The Michigan Wolverines climbed 4 spots to break into one of the top 4 spots for the first time this season. The Irish dropped 3 spots after dropping the game to Ohio State.

How will the B1G fair in Week 2? Well, ESPN’s SP+ has dropped the predictions for each game.

The system – compiled by ESPN’s Bill Connelly –  produces rankings each week throughout the season. It also determines the results for game-by-game picks each week of the year.

Here are the full B1G SP+ picks for Week 2:

  • Duke 22, Northwestern 33
  • Ohio 11, Penn State 38
  • Western Illinois 2, Minnesota 43
  • Washington State 10, Wisconsin 34
  • Akron 6, Michigan State 48
  • Indiana State 8, Purdue 44
  • Iowa State 22, Iowa 25
  • Virginia 28, Illinois 27
  • Wagner 0, Rutgers 50
  • Georgia Southern 16, Nebraska 37
  • Hawaii 3, Michigan 57
  • Idaho 12, Indiana 36
  • Arkansas State 9, Ohio State 53
  • Maryland 42, Charlotte 21

If the SP+ predictions are to be believed, it’s going to be a big week in the B1G, as each of the conference’s teams are predicted to take home a win, with one lone exception being Illinois against Virginia.
