ESPN’s SP+ has updated its projections for every game in Week 6.
That includes 8 matchups between B1G teams, including Iowa at No. 3 Ohio State and No. 10 Michigan at Washington. Illinois and Maryland are the only B1G teams that are not playing this week.
Every B1G team that is playing will be involved in a conference matchup. UCLA and Minnesota are the most desperate for a win as both teams enter Week 6 0-2 in conference play.
Rutgers will look to prove they deserve to be ranked as they try to get a road win at Nebraska. Meanwhile, Penn State, Oregon, Ohio State, and Indiana are also looking to stay perfect on the season.
Here’s SP+’s score projection for every B1G game in Week 6:
- Michigan State 11, Oregon 39
- Purdue 19, Wisconsin 31
- UCLA 9, Penn State 40
- Indiana 28, Northwestern 17
- Iowa 12, Ohio State 29
- Rutgers 18, Nebraska 25
- Michigan 23, Washington 24
- USC 29, Minnesota 25
Bill Connelly’s formula sees Oregon, Penn State, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio State rolling to comfortable wins in Week 6. Meanwhile, the model sees tight games elsewhere in the conference. SP+ has Washington getting a 1-point win over Michigan, with Michigan covering the +2 spread.
SP+ also predicts USC will have a tough time with Minnesota. The formula predicts a 4-point win for the Trojans, meaning the team will fail to cover the 9.5-point spread.
