ESPN's SP+ predicts final score for every Championship Week game
The calendar has finally flipped to December, which means it is time to decide some conference championships.
Across the country, teams are getting ready to duke it out in Championship Week with serious College Football Playoff implications on the line. No. 1 Georgia and No. 3 Alabama will face off in the SEC Championship Game with the winner all but guaranteed a spot in the field of four.
No. 2 Michigan is also in action in the B1G Championship Game where a win over Iowa would net Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines a trip to the Playoff. No. 5 Oklahoma State will look to keep its hopes alive by getting a win over No. 9 Baylor in the Big 12 Championship.
Though not a Power 5 championship, No. 4 Cincinnati will face Houston with a shot to complete another undefeated season. A win would also appear to get the Bearcats into the Playoff, though the Committee could decide otherwise, depending on the rest of the results from the weekend.
As we get set for the championship games, here is how ESPN’s SP+ system is predicting the Power 5 championships and the AAC game featuring Cincinnati:
- Oregon 29, Utah 30
- Baylor 24, Oklahoma State 25
- Georgia 30, Alabama 23
- Michigan 27, Iowa 16
- Pittsburgh 36, Wake Forest 30
- Houston 20, Cincinnati 33
