ESPN’s SP+ is taking inventory of the college football landscape with score predictions for Week 11. That includes the game between Rutgers and Iowa in a series that has not been played on a regular basis.

Heading into that game, the SP+ is giving the Hawkeyes a 66% win probability with a projected final score of 21-14. Both teams possess strong defensive units, so this game should be another low-scoring affair in Kinnick Stadium. Iowa hits the game as a 1-point home favorite, and fans can head to BetMGM to get in on the weekend action.

The two sides have just 3 all-time meetings, including a 2022 matchup that the Hawkeyes won 27-10 in Piscataway. Iowa is 3-0 against the Scarlet Knights, and it will be the first meeting in Iowa City for the two teams since 2019.

This weekend’s game has increased stakes for Iowa with the Hawkeyes looking to retain possession of the B1G West lead. With a 4-2 conference record, Iowa holds a one-game lead over Minnesota, Wisconsin and Nebraska with 3 games left to play.

Meanwhile, Rutgers has clinched bowl eligibility but is looking to improve on a 6-3 record down the stretch.
