It didn’t take long for the first ever early signing period to get rolling. Several prospects had already signed on the dotted line before most people had their morning coffee.

Coaches were up early and ready to go, though, welcoming in those signatures once the clock hit 7 a.m.

While commitments will continue to trickle in over the next few days, most of the heavy labor is done. Some programs even signed all of their verbal commitments on Wednesday.

Yeah, it’s safe to say the first day of the early signing period was really busy. And it was a little bit busier for those head coaches.

On Wednesday, Big Ten Network met up with coaches from each program to talk about their recruiting classes.

Here’s what each coach out of the B1G East had to say:

Indiana head coach Tom Allen

Maryland head coach D.J. Durkin

Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown

Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer

Penn State head coach James Franklin

Rutgers head coach Chris Ash
