Ex-Buckeye Jameson Williams hauls in 55-yard TD catch for Bama in SEC title game
Georgia has a problem on its hands, and he wears No. 1.
Jameson Williams, a former Ohio State Buckeye and Alabama’s Biletnikoff finalist wideout, is having a monster game in the SEC title match. Against the stingiest defense in college football, Williams has found the end zone multiple times. His second touchdown grab of the day put the Crimson Tide up 31-17.

Williams spent 2 seasons at Ohio State. During that time he totaled 266 receiving yards on 15 catches. With playing time looking scarce in a crowded wideout room, he decided to enter the transfer portal last offseason and wound up in Tuscaloosa.
His first season as a member of the Tide has been nothing short of spectacular. He entered the day 10th nationally in receiving with 1,261 yards and 13 touchdowns on just 61 catches. At nearly 21 yards a catch, he was the 7th-most explosive wideout in the country by yards per reception.
Georgia certainly knows about that. Williams’s second touchdown grab early in the third quarter put him within striking distance of a 200-yard day.
The No. 3 Crimson Tide and top-ranked Bulldogs are duking it out on CBS.
