The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs are unbeaten no more.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are SEC champions once again—their 3rd straight and 7th title in the last 10 years—and Georgia is licking some wounds it hasn’t felt all year. Entering Saturday’s game, the Bulldogs hadn’t given up more than 17 points in a game all season; Alabama scored 24 in the second quarter alone.

Alabama used that second quarter to build a lead it never gave back. The Tide went on to win 41-24. Quarterback Bryce Young carved up what had been the stingiest defense all season and set SEC Championship Game records with 421 yards passing and 461 yards total offense. He threw for 3 scores and ran another touchdown in.

With the win, Alabama secured a spot in the College Football Playoff for a record 7th time. The only thing left uncertain with them is what seed they’ll be, but the Tide are in. The victory bumped them to 12-1 on the year.

Georgia is also almost surely in considering it’s the Bulldogs’ first loss on the year (12-1) and this was a matchup between the CFP selection committee’s No.1 and No. 3 teams. But that isn’t stopping some from questioning whether Georgia actually has a resume worthy of consideration or not.

Fans and media alike questioned their CFP case, coach Kirby Smart, and just about everything else as the game result became clear. Here’s some of the reaction:
