FCS assistant lowers shoulder into opposing player out of bounds

The FCS football season is underway, and one Youngstown State assistant produced a sketchy moment from Saturday’s competition.
Youngstown State is taking on Northern Iowa this weekend with Northern Iowa holding a lead late in the fourth quarter. So far, the Panthers have been shutting out the Penguins, but it was a long gain by Northern Iowa that drew attention.
After a catch and run, one Panthers receiver went out of bounds on the Youngstown State side of the field. As he was being shoved out of bounds by a Penguin defender, a Youngstown State assistant appeared to lower and deliver a shoulder into the Northern Iowa receiver.

The play is happening at full speed, but the assistant did appear to take a step back before moving forward with the shoulder. It will be interesting to see if there is a response to the move after the game as it does not appear that a flag was thrown by the officials.
