Even though a lot of FBS teams have scheduled games against FCS teams this season, they haven’t been winning a lot of them.

Jacksonville State upset Florida State in Week 2 for one of them off of a hail mary play that probably shouldn’t have happened in the first place. The Seminoles weren’t playing prevent defense with 6 seconds left, which allowed the Gamecocks to throw it over the top for the game-winning touchdown.

East Tennessee State also had an upset over Vanderbilt as they only allowed the Commodores to score 3 points all game.

The Pac-12 also joined the fray too as Washington lost to Montana in Week 1 and scored just 7 points in that game.

Overall in the first 2 weeks of the season, there already have been 8 FCS teams who have beaten FBS teams and it’s likely that there are more coming as the season goes on. When even Holy Cross can get a win (granted it’s UConn), anything is possible.
