Paul Finebaum doesn’t often seem to say nice things about the B1G.

The SEC Network host has never been shy about criticizing the antics of Jim Harbaugh or the moves made by Urban Meyer.

Finebaum joined The Saturday Down South Podcast on Friday, and he played a game called “Say Something Nice.” Needless to say, all three of Finebaum’s subjects for the game were B1G-related.

Say something nice about Meyer, Paul.

“I really like his wife a lot,” Finebaum said on The Saturday Down Down Podcast. “Shelley’s been very nice to me.”

And what about Jim Harbaugh?

“You know, I like Jim Harbaugh,” Finebaum said. “He’s a quirky, weird, all-over-the-map dude, but I’m a fan of his.”

Lastly, and most importantly, say something nice about the B1G.

“You asked the wrong guy because I almost went to work for the Big Ten Network,” Finebaum said. “I think the B1G is great.”

Finebaum was, of course, referencing the contract negotiations he had before he came back to the SEC Network in July. It’s weird to think about a world in which Finebaum would be regularly saying nice things about the B1G.

I suppose we’ll just settle for every time he goes on a podcast and plays “Say Something Nice.”
