The First Responder Bowl between Boise State and Boston College has officially been canceled.
Wednesday’s cancelation came after a long weather delay, which included lightning. The two teams went to the locker rooms midway through the first quarter, when the first bolt of lightning was seen. Due to the severe conditions, the game was canceled.
It was ruled a no contest, which means Boise State and Boston College will end the season with the same record as the entered the game with. The Broncos were 10-3 and the Eagles were 7-5.

Boston College had a 7-0 lead at the time of the weather delay.
The First Responder made no effort to reschedule or replay the contest after it was called.
