It didn’t take long for the first ever early signing period to get rolling. Several prospects had already signed on the dotted line before most people had their morning coffee.

7 a.m. was the magic hour on the first day of the early signing period and that’s exactly when the fax machines started humming. Every B1G school had at least one commitment bright and early on Wednesday morning.

Here’s a quick look at every B1G team’s first signee from Wednesday:

Illinois: Ron Hardge III, DB

Indiana: Aaron Casey, LB/DB
