Five B1G defensive players make semifinalist cut for Chuck Bednarik Award

Ohio State and Penn State each had two players included on the 15-man list. Wisconsin had one player listed as a semifinalist. Out of the B1G, the five semifinalists are:
- Chase Young, DE, Ohio State
- Jeff Okudah, DB, Ohio State
- Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
- Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
- Zack Baun, DE, Wisconsin
Last year’s winner of the Chuck Bednarik Award was Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick. Below is the complete list of semifinalists for the award:
