Florida QB plans to hit the transfer portal soon, per report
The transfer portal continues to add players as we hit the Early Signing Period. Specifically, a number of quarterbacks with Power 5 experience remain in the portal and another one plans to head there soon.
Per Pete Thamel with Yahoo! Sports, Florida QB Emory Jones is planning to hit the portal in the coming days. Jones started 11 games for the Gators this year and completed better than 67% of his passes. Florida finished 6-6 with head coach Dan Mullen getting fired before the end of the year.
Thamel also reports that Jones will play in Florida’s bowl game vs. UCF. Jones is open to going anywhere in the country in order to develop for the next level.
Jones plans to play in Florida’s bowl game vs UCF on the 23rd. He’s willing to go anywhere in the country and is looking for “a place that develops me and prepares me for the next level.”
