Former B1G offensive coordinator and position coach John McNulty has landed a job in the ACC.

Brett McMurphy of Action Network reported on Monday that McNulty has agreed to become the next offensive coordinator at Boston College. He was most recently the tight ends coach at Notre Dame, where he spent the past two seasons.

McNulty spent two seasons at Rutgers (2018-19) as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach on Chris Ash’s staff. When Ash was terminated midway through the 2019 season, McNulty was also let go.

During the 2019 season, McNulty quickly joined the staff at Penn State, where he served in an off-field role as an offensive analyst. He also spent his collegiate playing career with the Nittany Lions, where he was a safety from 1988-90.

McNulty had one other B1G stop, serving as a graduate assistant for Michigan from 1991-94.
