Former B1G stars are dominating PFF's All-Rookie OL Team through 4 weeks
The B1G has long been known for its strong offensive line play. Through the first four weeks of the 2020 NFL season, former offensive linemen from the conference are proving that the league still has a ton of talent up front.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) released its All-Rookie team through the first four weeks of the NFL season. Four of the five offensive linemen listed are former B1G stars. The players to make the list are:
- Michael Onwenu, New England Patriots (Michigan)
- Tyler Biadasz, Dallas Cowboys (Wisconsin)
- Jonah Jackson, Detroit Lions (Rutgers, Ohio State)
- Tristan Wirfs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Iowa)
The lone non-B1G lineman on the list was Jedrick Wills Jr., who comes from Alabama.
Wirfs was the only first-round pick among the B1G players on the list. Jackson was a third-round selection, Biadasz went in the fourth round and Onwenu heard his name called in the sixth round.
It’s still early in the season, so a lot could change over the next 12 weeks. So far, though, B1G offensive linemen are continuing the tradition of success in the NFL.
