Back in 2002, Ohio State went on a remarkable run to a BCS National Championship. The Buckeyes beat one of the most talented college football teams in the history of the sport — according to many — in Miami (FL).

Dave Matthews was a tight end for the Buckeyes back then and has since made his way into coaching. In 2012-13, he served as Illinois’ associate head strength and conditioning coach.

From 2015 onward — after a stop at Notre Dame in 2014 — he joined Pat Narduzzi at Pittsburgh as their strength and conditioning coach. Now, he’s moving on to Iowa State:

Andrews has certainly been around the block and knows what he’s doing. Wherever he wants to be a strength and conditioning coach, it seems as though he can make a case that he would be a legitimate candidate based on his resume.
