Former Navy SEAL, current Northwestern linebacker carried off the field by teammates after victory
Clayton Thorson played great today and Austin Carr is a future NFL pass-catcher. The quarterback-wide receiver combo helped earn Northwestern a 45-17 victory over Purdue.
However, one Wildcat player that didn’t make as much of a contribution on the field, in Thomas Hruby, has made an even bigger difference away from the gridiron.
Hruby, a 35-year old walk-on, is a former Navy SEAL. Today, which marks the day after Veterans Day, Hruby got carried off the field by teammates following the team’s win. Take a look:
