Joe Burrow transferred from Ohio State to LSU, and now he’s starting quarterback for the Tigers in the SEC.

Burrow has a new lease on his football life at one of the top football programs in the country, but he has strong ties at Ohio State, having left the Buckeyes as a graduate transfer after two seasons as the backup to J.T. Barrett — and his former teammates are thrilled for him.

Eleven Warriors put together a list of Burrow’s former teammates celebrating the news that he’s now a starting quarterback. Here are some of the highlights:

Burrow is 6-foot-4, 216 pounds — sizable for a quarterback — and he completed his OSU career having had played in 10 games in relief of Barrett, having completed 29-of-39 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns.
