Former UCLA head coach lands new gig at UConn
After Randy Edsall stepped down following the loss to Holy Cross in Week 2, UConn football has found its new football coach.
This coach made a name for himself in the college ranks during his time with the UCLA Bruins from 2012 to 2017. He had a 46-30 win/loss record with the Bruins.

UConn Football announced on Thursday that Jim Mora would be its new head coach.

Mora was the NFC coach of the year of back in 2004 as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. In his season, the team finished 11-5 and made to the NFC championship game where they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10. It was his first head coaching job after being an assistant coach for various teams in the NFL from 1985 to 2003.
He also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks as a defensive backs coach and assistant from 2007 to 2010. His NFL coaching record is 31-33, which gives him a win percentage of .470.
