Four from B1G listed in Sports Illustrated’s top 25 rankings

The same four B1G teams that have appeared on most preseason top 25 lists have also made the cut for Sports Illustrated. The rankings, however, have fluctuated a bit.
Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Wisconsin were all listed in Sports Illustrated’s top 25 list but the publication only needed 12 spots to include the four teams. Here’s where those teams ranked:
- No. 3 Ohio State
- No. 8 Penn State
- No. 11 Michigan
- No. 12 Wisconsin
The Buckeyes have rotated between the second and third spots on most preseason polls. They are listed behind Alabama and Florida State in this poll. Penn State has typically been in the top 10 but has surged into the top five in some rankings. Michigan and Wisconsin have also fluctuated but have been just outside the top 10 according to most.
