The Naismith Trophy has announced its top 30 men’s college basketball players at this point in the season, and four B1G stars have made the final cut.
Over the next month, the list will be trimmed until a winner is announced at the Final Four. The 30 candidates will be cut down to 10 semifinalists on March 6 and four finalists will be named on March 17.
The recipient will be named on April 7.
Purdue guard Carsen Edwards, Michigan State guard Cassius Winston, Wisconsin Forward Ethan Happ and Michigan forward Ignas Brazdeikis are the four players from the B1G mentioned in the top 30.
All four players have their teams in the hunt for the B1G title with about a month left to play in the regular season.
