FOX analyst drops updated college football tiers following Week 2 action

FOX’s RJ Young has updated his tier chart for the top teams going into Week 3 around college football and there have been some changes.

Tier 1 is just Alabama since they’re the top team in the country and the defending National Champions, but there are a couple of new teams in Tier 2.

Oregon and Iowa have both moved up after the two programs notched ginormous wins over the weekend. The Ducks went into Columbus and stunned Ohio State, while the Hawkeyes went into Iowa City and took down Iowa State yet again. Both teams are now in the top 10 for the latest AP Poll. 

Meanwhile, the Buckeyes dropped down to Tier 4, which is also where Clemson and Notre Dame are. Teams like Penn State, Arkansas, and Texas A&M are above them, which is a bit surprising since both Clemson and Notre Dame would likely be favored over the Razorbacks and Aggies if they were to play.
