It was another wild week in the sport of college football as the B1G Conference had some big non-conference wins. The night after the games means it is time for some overreactions by creating some rankings. Fox Sports analyst RJ Young has eight B1G teams in the top 25, including two in the top-five.

Young has the top 25 started with Iowa at No. 4 and Penn State at No. 5 for the B1G. The Hawkeyes are coming off a 30-7 win at home over Kent State, while Penn State is coming off a big 28-28 home White Out win over the No. 22 Auburn Tigers.

The next team that Young has from the B1G are the Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 8. The Buckeyes are coming off a tough 41-20 win over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Young puts in a surprising team at No. 15 in the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Rutgers is coming off a 45-13 win over the Delaware Blue Hens on Saturday. The Scarlet Knights have not been ranked in the AP since the 2012 college football season.

The following team from the B1G ranked by Young are the Michigan State Spartans at No. 16. On Saturday, the Spartans went on the road to shock the No. 24 Miami Hurricanes 38-17. Another surprising addition to Young’s top 25 are the Maryland Terrapins at No. 19. The Terrapins had a 20-17 struggle win on the road against Illinois on Friday.

The No. 20 Michigan Wolverines and the No. 21 Wisconsin Badgers round the B1G teams ranked in the top 25 by Young.
