Joel Klatt isn’t scared to get snarky with fans when it comes to his college football rankings, but he can take it as well as he dishes it.

During a Wednesday segment for FOX College Football, Klatt addressed criticism of his ranking of Clemson. He is not high on the Tigers at this point, but his best comments came when he addressed one snarky diss from a fan.

Here was the tweet by the fan:

Klatt was so impressed by the well-thought-out comment that he applauded the effort by “Benton.”

“I mean, how good was – if Twitter wasn’t created for a tweet just like that, I don’t know why it was created,” said Klatt. “Kudos to you! I wish I had a prize for you, Benton, that I could send to you. That last line…I gotta tell ya, can we be best friends? That’s what I love! Folks, I’m snarky with you, be snarky back, that’s part of the fun. This is college football, it’s supposed to be fun!”

Though Klatt did appreciate the interaction, he had one correction to the diss:

“The one thing I will say: That’s not a half-Windsor. That’s a full double, my friend,” explained Klatt. “You think I’d go half? What am I, a banker?”
