Each week, FOX college football analyst Joel Klatt releases an updated Top 10 when Saturday’s games come to a close. Obviously, his rankings will look a little different in 2020, but he still provides some insight as to who he believes the best teams in the sport are every week.

Klatt’s latest Top 10 includes a pair of B1G teams — Ohio State and Penn State. They are the only two teams in his rankings that have not played a game yet, as the conference won’t start until Oct. 24.

Ohio State is listed in the No. 2 spot, right behind Clemson and before Alabama. Penn State just missed the top five, ranked at No. 7 in Klatt’s Top 10. Below is a look at Klatt’s rankings:

  1. Clemson Tigers (2-0)
  2. Ohio State Buckeyes (0-0)
  3. Alabama Crimson Tide (1-0)
  4. Florida Gators (1-0)
  5. Auburn Tigers (1-0)
  6. Georgia Bulldogs (1-0)
  7. Penn State Nittany Lions (0-0)
  8. Miami Hurricanes (3-0)
  9. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (2-0)
  10. Texas Longhorns (2-0)

Narrowly missing the Top 10 were UCF (2-0) and Texas A&M (1-0).

It’s going to be interesting to see how Klatt views teams like Ohio State and Penn State over the next month until they hit the field. Will high-performing teams from the SEC, ACC and Big 12 nudge those two B1G teams out of the Top 10? Or does Klatt believe firmly enough that those two teams are deserving of a spot even before taking the field?
