R.J. Young has put out his latest CFB tiers list after the games from Week 7. There are now just two B1G teams on his list now.
Ohio State stands alone in the top tier. The second tier has only Georgia and Michigan. Tier three has Tennessee, Clemson, and Alabama. The final tier included TCU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Oregon, UCLA, and USC.
Ohio State is coming off of a bye week and faces Iowa next. Michigan might be the reason that Penn State is no longer on the list.
The Wolverines beat the Nittany Lions 41-17 in Ann Arbor. Michigan was up by two points at halftime and had an offensive explosion in the second half. Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards led the way for the Wolverines offense with a combined four touchdowns.
We’ll see if Michigan will be joining Ohio State in the top tier if both teams wind up undefeated heading into the final game of the season.
