It’s unquestionably the greatest theme song in the history of televised sports, and it’s making a return to your home.
Over the weekend, FOX Sports incorporated John Tesh’s “Roundball Rock” into its basketball coverage, which included the following matchups: Kentucky-Seton Hall; Louisville-Indiana; and Wisconsin-Marquette.
With FOX Sports airing several B1G basketball games throughout the 2018-19 season, that means fans in the Midwest will get fired up to the old tune on a weekly basis again.

For those unfamiliar, “Roundball Rock” served as the theme for the NBA on NBC in the 1990s. While it’s still considered one of the top theme songs in sports, it hasn’t been regularly used in years.
This might be a small thing — and combining “Roundball Rock” with college basketball might seem like a strange combination for disciples of 1990s NBA basketball — but it’s still pretty cool that FOX is incorporating one of the best theme songs into its broadcasts.
