The book just recently closed on the 2020 NFL Draft and 255 former college football stars saw their dreams become reality over the weekend. And now that this year’s draft has come to an end, it’s time to start looking ahead to 2021.

FOX Sports released a way-too-early mock draft for the 2021 NFL Draft, projecting where 32 of the best college football players will land in the first round next April. Right now, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence is labeled as the No. 1 overall selection.

Five B1G players were included in FOX’s mock draft, with two players from Ohio State being included and one player from Penn State, Minnesota and Purdue, respectively.

Ohio State Quarterback Justin Fields was at the top of the list among potential B1G candidates, slated in the No. 4 spot. Purdue’s Rondale Moore was the last B1G player on the list, projected as the No. 28 pick in 2021.

Below is where the five B1G players were projected for the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

  • No. 4: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State — Chicago Bears
  • No. 12: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 15: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 24: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota — Arizona Cardinals
  • No. 28: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue — Kansas City Chiefs
