It’s no surprise that the B1G continues to put out top viewership numbers. Major name brands like Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State typically average in the top 4 per average viewers each week.

In Week 7 it was no different when Penn State traveled to Ann Arbor. Per Fox Sport’s PR official Twitter Account:

If a team averages just over 2 million viewers per week it’s considered to be outstanding in terms of the television market. Penn St and Michigan, already considered top-tier brands by viewership, showcased why the B1G’s numbers with Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff are consistently taking the top spot.

Last Saturday’s Michigan-Penn State college football game averaged 6.45 million views and took the lead as the second-most streamed game for the network. A consistent 5.57 million viewership rate is one of the reasons we’re likely to see major television deals continue to pour in for Fox.

Fox’s Big Noon Saturday has an average viewership that matches other networks’ better performances and some of the biggest games have yet to be played.
