The alliance seems to be a response to the SEC poaching Oklahoma and Texas this offseason.

The alliance talked a lot about scheduling between the conferences and making marquee non-conference matchups.

Some notable marquee matchups between the three leagues this year are No.4 Ohio State vs. No.11 Oregon, N0.20 Washington at Michigan and Minnesota at Colorado.

There was no signed agreement with the alliance it was more of gentlemen’s agreement between the three commissioners.

There is no timetable for when the alliance will begin. The B1G and Pac-12 seasons kick off today. Nebraska at Illinois and UCLA vs. Hawaii.
