Frisco Bowl announces new title sponsor for upcoming season
The Frisco Bowl will have a new title sponsor for the 2019 season.
On Thursday, the Frisco Bowl announced that it will no longer be sponsored by DXL, and will instead have Tropical Smoothie Cafe serve as the title sponsor. This will mark just the third year of operation for the Frisco Bowl.

The Frisco Bowl started in 2017 and has seen just two years of action in college football. Louisiana Tech and SMU were featured in the inaugural matchup, a game Louisiana Tech won 51-10.
Last season, Ohio defeated San Diego State 27-0.
The 2019 game will feature a team from the AAC against an at-large opponent.
