It remains to be seen where Rashan Gary will end up. But now, the nation’s top recruit has a plan in place.

The five-star defensive tackle tweeted early Friday morning that he’ll announce his decision on National Signing Day on CBS Sports Network.

After he made the announcement, Gary was believed to be heading back to Ann Arbor for the weekend to see his best friend and fellow New Jersey native Kareem Walker. An early enrollee, Walker planned on hosting the 6-5, 290-pound defensive tackle.

Gary took an official visit to Ann Arbor back in September and has maintained that Michigan is one of his top choices. The 247sports crystal ball is 74 percent in favor of Michigan landing the consensus No. 1 recruit.

Gary has a host of in-home visits with the likes of Jim Harbaugh, Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney, Gus Malzahn and Nick Saban. He’s yet to officially visit Alabama, Clemson or Ohio State and he has one OV left to take on Jan. 29.

Those teams — and others — now have 12 days to make their final pitches.
