There’s no denying that Rashan Gary and Parris Campbell are both freaks in nicest sense of the word.

Gary out-performed most of the NFL defensive linemen prospects after his freshman season at Michigan while Campbell runs a sub-4.4 40-yard dash and he has a 40-inch vertical.

So on a list of the most freakish athletes in the sport, of course those two players made the cut.

NFL.com’s Chase Goodbread listed both of the B1G stars on his preseason countdown.

Campbell came in at No. 10, which made him the second-highest ranked receiver on the list (only Baylor’s Jalen Hurd was ranked higher). Goodbread praised Campbell’s combine measurables, as well as his ability to function as an explosive kickoff return man.

Gary was ranked all the way at No. 2 behind only Houston’s Ed Oliver, who topped the list. Goodbread explained the Michigan defensive lineman’s high slot by recapping those combine event numbers (4.57-second 40, 9-6 broad jump, etc.), which are nothing short of remarkable at 280 pounds.

Bruce Feldman comes out with his annual freaks list every offseason, so it’ll be interesting to see where B1G players are slotted.
