Another Top 5 team has fallen.
No. 21 Texas A&M overcame a 28-17 deficit to No. 4 Florida to knock off the Gators 41-38 on a game-winning kick from Seth Small as time expired. It’s another highly-ranked team falling in this wild and whacky 2020 college football season.
It was another high-scoring affair for both teams, with the Gators maintaining a lead through most of the first half and taking a 21-17 advantage into the locker room. After falling behind 28-17 in the 3rd quarter, the Aggies scored 14 straight points to take a 31-28 lead in the 4th after a powerful 19-yard run by Isaiah Spiller.
Florida bounced back, and owned a 38-31 lead with just over 6 minutes to play. But the Aggies were able to score on a 51-yard pass from Kellen Mond to Caleb Chapman and forced a fumble late in the game, setting up the 26-yard game-winning kick for Small.

Spiller finished the day rushing for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns on 27 carries and catching a pass for 18 yards. Mond completing 25-of-35 pass attempts for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns with no interceptions.
The leading receiver for the Aggies was Chapman, who totaled 151 yards and 2 touchdowns on 9 catches.
Florida QB Kyle Trask threw for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns while completing 23-of-32 passes.
With Florida’s loss to Texas A&M, there are just three SEC teams that remain unbeaten — No. 2 Alabama (2-0) No. 3 Georgia (2-0), No. 14 Tennessee (2-0). At least one more undefeated team will fall as the Bulldogs and Volunteers play this afternoon.
