Pac-12 commissioner Georgia Kliavkoff said Wednesday that very few members inside the USC and UCLA organizations are in favor of the move to the B1G, according to LA Times reporter Ben Bolch.
Kliavkoff said that he has spoken to “dozens” of coaches and athletes, and hasn’t found any in favor of the move.
“I have yet to talk to anyone in the UCLA and USC community who is in favor of the move,” Kliavkoff said. “I will say that I probably hear from folks who are not in favor of it.”
Kliavkoff, who has been the Pac-12 commissioner since 2021, has been open about his opposition to the move, which is slated to begin for the 2024-25 academic calendar.
UCLA, which has struggled with fan attendance so far this season, sits at 6-1 on the season. USC is also 6-1.
