Glen 'Hangman' Powell announced as College GameDay guest picker for Week 2
Glen ‘Hangman’ Powell from the sequel of the classic movie ‘Top Gun’ will be joining College GameDay on Saturday as a guest picker. The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor is a native of Austin,Texas which is part of the reason why he was chosen.
Along with being from the area, he also attended the University of Texas as well. The Longhorns are going to face a tough foe in Alabama in Week 2. Hopefully people will like this guest picker more than Jack Harlow, who got some negative reactions from fans.

The last time that Alabama and Texas played was in 2010 in the BCS Championship Game. That was back when Colt McCoy was playing for the Longhorns. Alabama had the almost unstoppable running back duo of 2009 Heisman winner Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson.
As many know, the Crimson Tide went on to win 37-21. The 2010 win over Texas was Alabama’s first win in the all-time series. Texas is 7-1-1 against Alabama, dating back to the first meeting in 1902.
Can Powell help Texas stay out of the danger zone against Alabama?
