As if Odell Beckham Jr. hadn’t been in the news enough this week, an arrest warrant has reportedly been issued for the star NFL receiver for simple assault following LSU’s national title win over Clemson on Monday night.
According to Ross Dellenger of The Athletic, an arrest warrant for Beckham has been issued after slapping a police officer on the butt in the LSU locker room after the Tigers won the national championship. A short clip of Beckham winding up and slapping the cop can be seen below.

What a week it’s been for Beckham.
First, the former LSU star was under scrutiny for handing out wads of cash to players on the field of Mercedes-Benz Superdome following the victory. It was a matter that had to be investigated by the university because of the NCAA’s rules that forbids players to receive any pay for play.
Now, the locker room incident. Unfortunately, Beckham’s antics have stolen some of the spotlight away from LSU’s accomplishment, which many are considering to be one of the best seasons in college football history.
But, hey, it looks like Beckham really enjoyed himself on Monday night, even if it led to some negative attention.
