Greg McElroy released his top 4 performances from a wild Week 7 with 2 B1G running backs a part of his top performances. The ESPN college football analyst put Illinois’ Chase Brown and Minnesota’s Mohamed Ibrahim as the top players that accounted for big performances in Week 7.

No. 24 Illinois defeated Minnesota 26-14 at home in Week 7.

Brown rushed for 180 yards on 141 carries for an average of 4.4 yards per carry. He also caught 3 receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown in the 1st quarter.

This was the 7th consecutive 100-yard rushing yard performance this season. Brown leads the FBS in rushing yards accounted for this season with 1,059 yards on 192 carries for 4 touchdowns. He has also caught 15 receptions for 17 yards and 2 touchdowns.
