Greg Sankey takes shot at Kevin Warren's NFL departure as 'stop to build a résumé'
SEC commissioner Greg Sankey took a shot at former B1G commissioner Kevin Warren at Georgia’s National Championship parade.
Sankey paused a bit before saying “We need leaders today for college football and college sports, not leaders who make a stop to build a résumé and go on to something else.”

Sankey is obviously referring too Warren, who recently accepted the CEO job for the Chicago Bears in the NFL. Warren was the B1G commissioner for exactly 3 years, and now the conference is on the hunt for a new leader once again.
This comes at a pivotal time for the conference as well. USC and UCLA are set to enter the fold in the coming years, and conference expansion likely isn’t done quite yet as far as other programs are concerned.
We’ll see who the conference decides to go after in the coming months.
