Teams just recently closed out the 2021 recruiting class, but in a business that never stops, started looking ahead to the 2022 class. Already, some programs have extended hundreds of offers to recruits in next year’s cycle.

Rivals.com’s Blair Sanderson recently released the complete list of the number of offers Power 5 programs have extended to recruits in the 2022 class already. Some programs have offered more than 300 potential prospects, while there are some programs that haven’t even offered 75 players yet.

It’s an inexact science and different coaches have different recruiting strategies. Still, it’s always interesting to see how many prospects each school is offering throughout the year.

First, here’s a look at the Top 10 schools with the most offers out:

  1. Arizona State (357)
  2. Kansas (346)
  3. Penn State (324)
  4. Nebraska (322)
  5. Tennessee (317)
  6. Arkansas (314)
  7. West Virginia (301)
  8. Michigan State (289)
  9. Florida State (279)
  10. Virginia Tech (276)

Right now, only Penn State, Nebraska and Michigan State out of the B1G cracked the Top 10. Here’s a look at where all 14 programs rank nationally in terms of offers extended (total offers extended):

  • No. 3: Penn State (324)
  • No. 4: Nebraska (322)
  • No. 8: Michigan State (289)
  • No. 15: Michigan (217)
  • No. 20: Indiana (199)
  • No. 24: Maryland (188)
  • No. 31: Minnesota (159)
  • No. 39: Rutgers (137)
  • No. 50: Ohio State (93)
  • No. 51: Purdue (89)
  • No. 58: Iowa (67)
  • No. 59: Illinois (65)
  • No. 61: Wisconsin (60)
  • No. 64: Northwestern (48)

Some schools are sending out offers left and right. Others have been very mindful and calculated in their decisions. Obviously, over the course of the next few months, this could change drastically.

Here’s a complete look at how every Power 5 school ranks currently:
