Here's how much AAF coaches are reportedly making
The Alliance of American Football (AAF) is preparing for its second weekend of action this Saturday and Sunday, after a surprisingly successful start last week.
It was new, it was interesting and it was fun. It also drew some solid ratings, which isn’t too surprising considering it’s the only football we can currently consume in America.
As we head into the second week of the AAF, FootballScoop recently released some figures that might be interesting: coaches salaries.
According to Football Scoop, here’s a breakdown of what coaches in the AAF are making:
- $500,000 for head coaches
- $200-250,000 for coordinators
- $75-150,000 for position coaches
Each of the eight teams in the AAF has somewhere between 11 and 13 coaches on staff. That comes out to approximately $2 million per staff and $16 million across the league.
Not a bad gig for someone who retired from coaching a few years ago like Steve Spurrier.
