Here's what the bracket would look like if the B1G Tournament started today
The B1G basketball season has been an incredibly entertaining one. This year, there seems to be as much parity across the conference as there’s ever been.
A month of basketball still remains until the 14 squads pack their bags and head to Indianapolis for the 2020 B1G Tournament. There’s still plenty left to be determined. But it’s still fun to see what the matchups would look like if the tournament started today.
Right now, there would be some interesting rivalry bouts scheduled through the first few rounds of the tournament.
On Tuesday, Big Ten Network tweeted out a look of what the bracket would look like if the tournament started today. Thursday matchups between rivals Indiana and Purdue, as well as Minnesota and Wisconsin, would be the highlight of the event.
Michigan State, Illinois, Maryland and Iowa would have have double-byes. Below is a full look at what it would look like:

Thankfully, there’s still plenty of time for this to change — and there’s a good chance we see some shifting. But, hey, who could argue with some of those interesting rivalry matchups? It would be pretty entertaining.
We’ll see how much this changes over the next month until the tournament starts.
