Here's what the projected BCS rankings look like entering Rivalry Week
The BCS formula may not be used these days, but it’s still fun to see where teams would be ranked using the old system. And with just one week left in the regular season, the intrigue is higher than ever.
Monday, BCSKnowHow.com tweeted out the simulated BCS standings entering Week 14, the final regular season weekend of the college football season. Five B1G teams fall in the top 15 spots, most of any conference in the sport.
Ohio State leads the way at No. 2 and Penn State is the only team in the top 10, sitting at No. 8 despite the loss to the Buckeyes this weekend. Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin are the three remaining teams in those top 13 spots.
Here’s where the top 16 teams rank:
- Ohio State
- Penn State
- Notre Dame
Here it is, our pre-Thanksgiving simulated #BCS, which sets up the storylines for the final two weeks of the season. The top five remain the same, but Ohio State eats up more than half of the distance between itself and No. 1 LSU while Utah jumps four spots in two weeks: pic.twitter.com/GSJ1TRFQlx

Four of those B1G teams will get the chance to get another signature win, as Ohio State plays Michigan and Wisconsin travels to Minnesota. Penn State will round out the season against Rutgers.
Will this look similar to the College Football Playoff rankings? We’ll find out Tuesday.
