USC will be without one of its quarterbacks next season.

Kedon Slovis is now in the transfer portal as of Monday morning. Slovis had 7,576 yards passing with 58 touchdowns and 24 interceptions during his time at USC. He appeared in 9 games for the Trojans this season.

Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports broke the news via Twitter.

This comes just 2 weeks after Lincoln Riley was introduced as the new head coach of the Trojans.

Another thing that could have played a factor in Slovis transferring is the leg injury he suffered in loss to Arizona State in Week 10. Since the injury, Slovis and freshman QB Jaxson Dart split time the rest of the season. Slovis threw for 2,153 yards passing with 11 touchdowns and 8 interceptions this season.

An experienced QB like Slovis is sure to land somewhere, as he becomes one of the highest-profile players in the portal.
