Holiday Bowl makes final ruling after on-again, off-again decisions
Another bowl game has been canceled after there was a chance that it was going to be played.
The Holiday Bowl has officially been canceled after the bowl couldn’t find a replacement for UCLA. The Bruins had to withdraw from the bowl due to COVID-19 issues within their program.
They were supposed to play the NC State Wolfpack, who finished the regular season at 9-3.
“Sadly, we are announcing that the 2021 SDCCU Holiday Bowl is canceled. We worked closely with Boo Corrigan and the fantastic NC State Athletics staff to try and find a replacement team for UCLA, but were unable to do so,” a statement read.
