The Holiday Bowl was initially supposed to be played Tuesday night between No. 18 N.C. State and UCLA but was canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Bruins program. The Holiday Bowl may be reversing course on the cancellation ruling.
Here is what the SDCCU Holiday Bowl Twitter account had to say about reversing course.

UPDATE: We do not want to cancel the game officially until we have exhausted every opportunity to find a replacement team, and we are currently working closely with Boo Corrigan and his great staff at @PackAthletics to do so. https://t.co/5tiHqDOIPS

It appears the Holiday Bowl is working with the Wolfpack on finding a way to replace the Bruins with another team. The Holiday Bowl is looking to play the game until there are no options left at their disposal.
This season N.C. State finished 9-3 and 6-2 in ACC play and finished with a No. 18 ranking in the final College Football Playoff rankings.
There have already been a few bowl games moved around, and teams even switching bowl games so that the games could still be played.
There has not been any speculation on who the team or teams the Holiday Bowl is looking for to replace the Bruins. There is no set makeup date either for the game.
