While fans of the B1G and major college football endure the offseason and spring practices, most FCS teams are just now getting their seasons started.

One of the aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic was the decision of the FCS to delay the 2020 season until this spring. Among teams in action were the North Dakota Fighting Hawks taking on the Southern Illinois Salukis in their season opener.

One thing that surfaced in that game was a technical mishap of the referee as the two teams headed into halftime. As players left the field, the ref was apparently disgruntled with the equipment at his disposal.

He vented his frustrations, but he forgot one important step: to turn off his microphone.

The outcome? Well, just listen for yourself (audio NSFW):

Maybe next time he will make sure his mute button is pressed before going off like that.
