There’s still a lot of time remaining until the Early Signing Period for the 2021 recruiting class. But that doesn’t mean we can’t take a quick look at how things are going on the recruiting trail in the B1G.
Obviously, this is a unique time in the recruiting cycle. The NCAA has placed a moratorium on recruiting — not permitting prospects to take official or unofficial visits to campus. Coaches have not been allowed to host camps or visit with players in a face-t0-face setting.
Recruiting has shifted to essentially an online, phone and social media setting. It’s forced coaches and programs to get really creative in the process. Some are doing much better than others.
As we hit the month of August, let’s take a look at the basic rankings in the 2021 recruiting rankings in the B1G.
