Michigan added some home-grown talent to its 2018 class.

On Tuesday night, the Wolverines got a verbal pledge from the No. 4 recruit in the state of Michigan.

Four-star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson announced his intentions to come to Ann Arbor in 2018:

Hutchinson is rated as the No. 9 strong-side defensive end and the No. 204 player overall in the 2018 class. The announcement came a day after Hutchinson took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame.

The Devine Child (Mich.) recruit picked the in-state Wolverines instead of the likes of LSU, Michigan State, Nebraska, Wisconsin and others.

The 6-5, 234-pound defensive end was the third commitment for Michigan’s 2018 class, all of which are four-star recruits.
